Religion

So my mom is a mormon and my dad is an atheist. My mom forces me to go to church whenever I'm visiting her, which, thank God, isn't very often.  I have had many bad experiences with mormons, but I have also had a few good ones to.  Girls camp is one of those highlights. I don't like how they treated me though when I would go to church. Since they didn't approve of my clothing since it was to "innapropriate" and they didn't like when I had my piercings. I even got told I looked like a boy once, which I definately don't, just beacause I was wearing sweats! Mormons can't be disrespected but can disrespect. They think they're the true church. I personally don't believe in that church. Although, right now  I don't know if I believe in any church. What religion is true?  I believe that if God really did exist people wouldn't go through all the stuff they go through and people wouldn"t be getting raped, since He loves us so much.

    I disagree because you can't blame a whole church or religion on just what one or a few people did.

    i dissagree with you robbie i dont think she is downing on a whole church based on that i think she has had alot of expirence with that church and religion growing up.

    hey well if god is real and so is the devil and i think god would try and not have bad sstuff happen to people but the devil would make bad stuff happen sooooooooooooo im still hyper lol

    I also Disagree even if she has expirence it still is (sounding like a smart ass) Not Logically correct because her expirences does not reflect the whole system and if she really doesn't like going to her moms church (real conflict in this post)And I not defending anyone because I myself is a Non-Religous person (meaning i don't have a specific religion)
    And from my stand point (religous believes) God is just a person we make up so we feel safe and like we have someone watching us (mine is that my mind is god because if you really want something you *pray to god for it* and it comes it cause you constantly have that goal to get that item,job,..etc)

    i think that God is with those of us who love him and we don't have to go to church to prove we love Him and the devil is with those who have given up on Him. i believ this because i have had a horrible experience with someone and i don't like to talk about it but i think that if that person had loved God and was still with Him then he would have never touched me but then i realize hes going to go to Hell if there is one.
